Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:
- Online – Using our prescription requests triage
- Using our online services – Patient Access
- Requesting a repeat prescription through your local pharmacy order and collect service
- In person or by post
When ordering repeat medications we ask that you can give the practice 2 – 3 working days notice of requiring a repeat medication.
Your prescriptions will be ready for collection after 14:00.
We do not take requests over the phone at the surgery.
We also provide prescriptions through our electronic prescribing service (EPS) which helps in the efficiency of the ordering process. If you would like to utilise this, please register for the Electronic Prescription Service.
If your prescription is to be posted please allow enough time for postage and 3 working days for processing. We do not count weekends in the number of days.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
If you have been advised by the surgery that your medication review is due, please complete our Medication Review form.
